New day, new doctor

We met with a new orthopedic today to see about non-surgical options to help Dante with his spasticity. She said his range of motion is good and she was able to get his feet flat. His scissoring (legs crossing over each other) is worse because of the spasticity and tightness in his adductors, which Botox may be able to help.

We’re always looking for any non-surgical options to help Dante. Without a cure and with so many unknowns for SPG52, there’s a lot of trial and error to find what works. But as always Dante is a true warrior through all of it.

If you’d like to help us in our efforts to Cure SPG52 please share Dante’s story and consider making a donation to help fund the research for the gene therapy treatment that could stop the progression of this disease.
