Since discovering Dante’s diagnosis in 2017 we’ve connected with families from around the world online who have kids with all forms of spastic paraplegia including SPG52 and the other AP-4 HSPs (SPG47, SPG50 and SPG51). Through the efforts of Cure SPG47 (now Cure AP-4), researchers found similarities between the four AP-4 disorders and are working on finding treatment options.
Once we got this amazing news we were all in to do anything we can to help find a treatment or a cure for Dante and all other kids affected by this awful disease.
